Jay Thorburn joined True Course Solutions Ltd as a partner for aviation film consulting.  He grew up in aviation family in the Okangan valley and gained his pilots licence at an early age.

During his completion of a Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria, Jay achieved his commercial pilots licence, and became a certified flight instructor. He started teaching flying in Vernon BC, flew float planes in north western Ontario, moved on to charters and air taxi services in Alberta and now resides in Vancouver BC. He now holds an Airline Transport Pilots Licence, and for the last 12 years have been flying for a major airline.

Jay is currently a Dash 8 Captain at Air Canada Jazz flying regional routes though out North America. He has been involved in the aviation world for more than 20 years and currently has over 10,000 hours of flying experience.
